Why Vinyl?

Vinyl has become an industry standard for multiple applications. Its durability, aerodynamic values and cost savings to name but a few benefits show why it is being used more and more in the aircraft industry.

Why AircraftWraps?

Here at AW we are a mixture of home builders, commercial and recreational pilots, aerospace engineers, graphic designers and professional vinyl installers. Each wrap we perform has the necessary experience and knowledge behind it to ensure your aircraft performs as good as it looks.

Are there design or color limitations?

There is no end to what you can have your aircraft looking like. We offer multiple colors in Gloss or Matt along with finishes such as Carbon Fiber or Brushed Metal. We can do checkers, sharks teeth, warbird themes; you can work with our designer and have your vision printed on a wrap. Seen a picture you like for your nose or tail art? Send it over, we can reproduce it on vinyl for you.

What about weathering?

The vinyl we utilize her at AW is given a battery of tests, including 20 accelerated-weathering tests and a series of 3M-proprietary test methods, which are recognized internationally as improved predictors of real-world weathering results. 15 sites around the world expose products to a range of environmental stresses — from the scorching desert heat of Arizona and the tropical humidity of Thailand, to the bitter winter cold of Minnesota.
